What does Additional Insured mean?

A person or organization added to another party's liability policy for specified protection arising from the named insured's operations, subject to the endorsement and policy wording.

Being listed as an additional insured is not the same as owning the policy and does not necessarily provide every coverage available to the named insured.

EXAMPLE

Additional Insured in practice
